Yangon Airways Our Symbol & Safety
In Myanmar, elephants are important to us for their strong and loyal
service. Elephants have played an important role in the development
of the various Myanmar Kingdoms. They served as Royal Carriages;
they have served in the Armed Forces; and they have aided in the
production and transportation industries. The Sin Phyu (the White
Elephant) is very rare and the Myanmar Kings prized them and used
them as their personal mounts for royal ceremonies and tours. The
spirit of the Flying Royal White Elephant is our symbol to bring
loyal and faithful service to the Golden Skies of Myanmar.
We employ only highly qualified personnel from our flight and cabin
crew to our ground service and maintenance staff. Our Pilots are
qualified to international standards. Their skills are updated
regularly with on-going training on flight simulators at the
manufacturer's training facilities. We operate new and reliable
ATR-72 Turbo-prop aircraft fitted with state-of-the-art avionics
systems. The aircraft are maintained to the highest standards
according to Joint Air Regulations. Rely on us for a reliable,
convenient, comfortable and safe flight.
